Robert Brack is an Article III federal judge on senior status on the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico. He joined the court in 2003 after being nominated by President George W. Bush. He assumed senior status on July 25, 2018.[1]
Biography
Early life and education
Born in Lynnwood, California, Brack graduated from Eastern New Mexico University with his bachelor's degree in 1975 and later from the University of New Mexico with his Juris Doctor degree in 1978.[1]
Professional career
Brack was a private practice attorney in the State of New Mexico from 1978 to 1997. Brack later became district court judge of Clovis, New Mexico from 1997 to 2003.[1]
Judicial career

Brack was nominated to the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico by President George W. Bush on April 28, 2003, to a new judgeship created by 116 Stat. 1758, which was approved by Congress. Brack was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on July 14, 2003, on a Senate vote and received commission on July 15, 2003.[2] He assumed senior status on July 25, 2018.
