Thomas James Phillips is a judge for the 86th District Court in Michigan.[1] He was elected to the court in 2000 and his current term expired on January 1, 2019.[2]

Military service

Phillips served in the Naval Judge Advocates General Corps during the Vietnam War.[2]

Education

Phillips received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.[2]
