Margin is a tall man with broad, muscular shoulders and a narrow waist. He has shoulder-length brown hair, brown eyebrows, and a long chin with a goatee. He wears sunglasses with circular lenses, a white collared shirt with the sleeves rolled up, a purple skirt, a blue sash with a cross-hatched pattern, another green-spotted sash, and brown sandals.

Personality[]

Margin is a cunning person, successfully tricking pirates into claiming bounties for him, which he then recruits into his own crew. He is also a good judge of character, knowing when to recruit someone and when to turn them in.

Abilities and Power[]

Margin's overall strength is unclear, but he was strong enough to command a crew made up entirely of impressive pirates in their own right. In addition, he has a fairly large bounty on his head, which makes him a dangerous pirate for the World Government. However, even with such a bounty and having strong pirates in his crew, Margin was no match for the Straw Hat Pirates.

Weapons[]

Margin wielded a large sword, with which he showed proficient skill.

History[]

One Piece Odyssey[]

Margin was approached by the Straw Hat Pirates, to who he explained his service: the pirates defeat somebody with a bounty, Margin turns them in, and both get a part of the profit. He asked the Straw Hats if they'd be interested in partnering with him, and when they accepted, he instructed them to pick a bounty from inside Spice Bean, suggesting the Evil Brothers.

After the Straw Hats defeated the brothers, Margin arrived with the advance payment, Beli30,000. The difference between Bulaniki's bounty of Beli3,000,000 and the advance payment angered Nami, who began arguing with him. He promised to pay 70% of the bounty once he turned the brothers in to the Marines, and pointed out that without him the Straw Hats couldn't make any money at all. Annoyed, Nami accepted the deal, and Margin left to go turn the brothers in.

The Straw Hats agreed to continue passing bounties to Margin, and he continued to turn in bounties they defeated in the Arabasta Kingdom, on Water 7, and in Dressrosa.

However, unbeknownst to the Straw Hats, Margin would actually recruit various pirates they turned in to form his own pirate crew. He managed to form a decent size crew before deciding to attempt and recruit the Straw Hats directly.

After Bulaniki and Bulototo escaped imprisonment for the third time, Margin waited for them in Dressrosa, knowing the Straw Hats would come to save him from their revenge. However, he set an ambush for the pirates, and invited them to join their crew; when Luffy denied the invitation, Margin decided to use force, and attacked. After a short battle, the Straw Hats defeated his entire crew, and the Evil Brothers took over his role of intermediary to turn him in.

Reunion of Memories[]

In the Dressrosa Memoria where Trafalgar Law defeated Donquixote Doflamingo, Margin tried to convince a group of Donquixote Pirates to take revenge against Law. However, before they could attack, Margin and his soldiers were defeated by the Straw Hat Pirates.
