Krin is a tall man with broad, muscular shoulders and a narrow waist. He has small eyes, slanted eyebrows, and a long, rectangular chin. He wears a maroon, collared shirt that has a deep neckline and pink patterns on it, as well as a maroon fez, a purple sash around his waist, and blue pants.

When Krin met the Straw Hat Pirates, he gave them some soup. Recognizing Sanji's cooking skills, he then offered to give them enough food and water for eight people if they could make a better soup. Sanji accepted Krin's challenge and hunted for ingredients to beat him. After trying Sanji's scorpion leg and clam soup, Krin admitted defeat and gave the Straw Hats the food as promised.[1]
