At some point in the past, Ginger began studying Mescal Cactuses, planning to manipulate the toxins to create a medicine that would give happy dreams. However, she failed many times, frequently causing accidents, and was eventually exiled from academia.[2]
One Piece Odyssey[]
Ginger continued her work in the Sandy Desert, and a bounty was eventually placed on her due to her repeated accidental poisonings of people in the surrounding area. The Straw Hat Pirates found her poster and tracked her down, defeating her and giving her to Margin to claim the reward.
Before being turned in, Ginger was recruited by Margin, and joined the Bounty Pirates. She participated in the ambush on the Straw Hats, but was defeated and turned over to the Marines once again.
