The Sand-Sand Clan was Princess Vivi's group of friends in her childhood. The leader was Koza and Vivi was the vice-leader.[1]
Overview[]
They were a large group of children who had lots of fun with each other. However, the Sand-Sand Clan did not just play child's games. One of their most serious moments was when they protected Vivi from being kidnapped by a group of bandits led by Agotogi.[1][2]

History[]
Past[]
At least 11 years before the story started, Koza was the leader of the Sand-Sand Clan.[1]
Koza tried to argue with the king about the drought in his village. Cobra promised to give help to the village, but Koza left crying. As he was leaving, Vivi insulted him for being a crybaby, which led to the two fighting and Vivi losing.
On the outskirts of Alubarna, Vivi and Koza had another fight, with the condition that if Vivi won, she would get to be the leader of the Sand-Sand Clan. After the fight, Koza announced that Vivi was the new Vice Leader.
When Vivi was walking, Agotogi and his bandits tried to kidnap her. The clan attacked and protected Vivi while she ran away. Most of the clan was injured and the bandits chased after kidnap Vivi, while Koza followed them. When Koza caught up, he defeated Agotogi, getting his left eye sliced in the process. The two bandits were then defeated by Cobra and Igaram, and the clan members were treated in a hospital. [2]
Some time later, Koza left with his father to help build Yuba.[2]
Since then, the clan has been disbanded.[3]
Trivia[]
- The name of the group is similar to the Suna Suna no Mi, although with suna (砂?, "sand") written in kanji instead of katakana.
