- The Shishano Kingdom's name comes from Mexican holiday the Mexican holiday Día de los muertos, or Day of the Dead, which is called 死者の日 (Shisha no Hi^?) in Japanese. The official English name of the Kingdom is Kingdom of the Dead.
- The attire of its people and the name of its king shows that the kingdom is based on Mexico, where the popular food tacos come from.
