Beneath the tomb exists a large underground chamber, accessed via a hidden staircase. The entry hall of the chamber contains several large columns, a sarcophagus, and two statues depicting sea cats, a sacred animal of Arabasta. It also contains stone carvings depicting the guardian deities of Arabasta, the jackal and the falcon, as well as some kind of a serpentine creature.[1]

The Arabasta Poneglyph Chamber is located deeper into the chamber, behind the last door. This is where the poneglyph that contains information on Pluton is located and has been protected by the royal family for generations, although they do not know much else about the poneglyph. Inside, there is a hidden panel that can be activated to make the room collapse.[2]

The final battle between Monkey D. Luffy and Crocodile also took place here.[3] The room was forced to collapse by Nefertari Cobra in an attempt to kill Crocodile.

Cobra's Tomb

Resting place of King Cobra.

After the death of Cobra at Mary Geoise, his body was eventually brought back to Arabasta and placed inside the sarcophagus within the now reconstructed underground chamber during his funeral. A large portrait of Cobra now oversees the location.[4]

History[]

The Tomb of the King's was constructed generation's before Nefertari Cobra's time, within it hold's the Arabastan Poneglyph detailing the Kingdom's history.

Arabasta Arc[]

Two years ago, Nico Robin forced King Cobra to take her to this Tomb in order to read the Ponelglyph, that contained information on Pluton.[1] Soon after, Crocodile arrived and demanded to know the Ponelglyph's contents from Robin but did not get the information he wanted from the Ponelglyph. Seeing this as an act of betrayal Crocodile attempted to kill Robin and impaled her with his hook . During this scuffle Cobra triggered a destruction mechanism in the grave in order to kill Crocodile,[2] but before the pirate could escape he was confronted by and fought Monkey D. Luffy in the process.[3] Ultimately Crocodile was defeated and Luffy rescued Robin and Cobra out of the tomb before it caved in.

Final Saga[]

Some time in the present the Tomb was reconstructed and the body of Nefertari Cobra was laid to rest within the underground chamber where his funeral was held.[4]
