The country resembles an ancient Chinese city with buildings characterized by Chinese style architecture. It also has several tall rock spires around the city.[1]
The country was in the middle of a war with another country. They were having trouble because their enemy was being supplied with weapons provided by the Donquixote Pirates. The kingRamen entrusted the Happo Navy with the mission to put an end to the supply of weapons going to the enemy.[3]

Trivia[]
The Kano Country seems to be based on China.
This makes it similar to the Wano Country, as they are both based on countries in Asia. The names even sound alike.
According to Monkey D. Garp, Kano Country is a minor ally of Jambalaya Kingdom, as the latter's king Sauce instigate Ramen against Furrari during the most recent Levely.[7]
↑One Piece Manga and Anime — Vol. 95Chapter 956 and Episode 957, Garp explains how major powers confront each others by instigating their own minor allies.
