Biography[]
Arashi was born in the Shimotsuki Village to a local swordsman named Pinzoro and a Wano Country emigrant named Furiko. At some point, he married the daughter of a bandit, named Tera. Twenty-one years ago they had a son named Roronoa Zoro, sometime after, Arashi later died in a battle with pirates.[1]

Arashi (嵐, アラシ?) refers to three matching dice in Japanese dice games. This follows the gambling-themed names of Zoro's relatives.
When forced to wield Sogeking and Yubashiri together, Zoro called the combination "Hana Arashi" (鼻嵐,Hana Arashi?, literally meaning "Nose Storm").[2]
