History[]
One Piece Odyssey[]
Joe collapsed in the streets of Nanohana from hunger. He was saved by the Straw Hat Pirates. Some time later, he collapsed again in the Ravine of No Return, and was saved once again.
Josh collapsed in the Spiral Canyon, and was found by the Straw Hats as well. He was also saved, and informed the Straw Hats he was Joe's cousin.
While exploring the cave from Nanohana to Alubarna, the Straw Hats found Joseph, collapsed as well. After helping him, Joseph revealed that he was the uncle of Joe and Josh.
After Crocodile was defeated, Joou and Jonathan collapsed in Alubarna and the desert around Alubarna respectively. They were both saved by the Straw Hats as well, and Joou told them that she's the hungriest in the family.
Reunion of Memories[]
In the Arabasta Memoria where Crocodile took over, Joe ate all his food in the desert around Nanohana, giving himself indigestion. He was found by the Straw Hats, who gave him indigestion medication, and he gave them a piece of jewelry as thanks.
