The Invetero Coquette is a sports car featured in Grand Theft Auto IV, Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.
Influence[]
HD Universe[]
Grand Theft Auto IV[]
In Grand Theft Auto IV the Coquette largely resembles the Chevrolet Corvette C5. The front fascia is closely reminiscent of the facelifted 2002-2005 Honda/Acura NSX, which shares the headlamp cluster design. The side vents are finished with two silver accent streaks, similarly to the Mercedes-Benz Vision SLR.
The unique white and red paintjob that can be found resembles the color scheme of the Corvette used by Templeton Peck, aka Faceman, in The A-Team.
Grand Theft Auto V and Online[]
In Grand Theft Auto V and Online, the Coquette takes on a modern design closely resembling the Chevrolet Corvette C7. Elements of the fifth generation Chevrolet Camaro can be across the car, mainly in the vent on the hood, side vents, side profile as well as the tail lights, which are mix of the 2014 facelifted Camaro and the Jaguar F-Type. The C-pillars are somewhat similar to the Nissan GT-R.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto IV[]
The Coquette sports a typical sports car body shape, characterized by several iconic design details. The rear end stands out the most, with its overlapping taillight design mirroring the overlapping twin exhausts, and of course the large Coquette badging between the taillights. Other notable design details include its rounded front end, chrome-trimmed side vents, and its large rear greenhouse area.
The Coquette largely features typical functional doors and hood. However, there is no rear trunk or hatch available to be opened, leaving the rear end sealed.
The interior of the Coquette takes on a typical GTA IV sports car interior design with two-tone leather upholstery. Embroidered Coquette badges can be found on the headrests. The car features a carpeted parcel shelf with integrated speakers.
Coquettes usually spawn in a single color, with the exception of a white and red one, where the red stripe is the secondary color. The car has five-split-spoke alloy rims wrapped by low-profile sport tires. The brakes are the same four very large, cross-drilled disc rotors found on the Infernus, Comet, and Turismo. Coquettes frequently have alarms.
Grand Theft Auto V and Online[]
The Coquette in GTA V and Online serves as an evolved version of the GTA IV Coquette, sharing a similar profile to it but with updated, modern changes. Some design details carry over, such as its identical front intake layout and the centered Coquette badging on the rear end. However most of the vehicle's detailing features sharp and modern angles, as opposed to the rounded, smooth styling of its GTA IV counterpart. Notable design details include its striking headlights, central hood intake, fin-like side vents, and taillight strips.
Similar to the GTA IV iteration, the Coquette features no openable trunk or hatch, but is otherwise typical in its door and hood functionality. The Coquette can be purchased with or without a roof, and both styles are considered separate models when requesting from the Garage Mechanic. However, it is possible to remove or add a roof at Los Santos Customs. The "Extreme Aero Front Bumper" option available in Los Santos Customs does add additional rally-style lamps to the vehicle, replacing a section of the front end where the front badging is located. However, these lights are non-functional.
The Coquette uses its namesake interior style, carried over from and kept largely identical to its GTA IV iteration. In the original version of GTA V, the vehicle also featured the Coquette badge embroidery headrest design found on its GTA IV iteration, but this was removed in the all future editions of the game. The Coquette also uses "Feroci" dial set. The interior features two randomly spawning extras that cannot be added in Los Santos Customs
- A fan filter for the center left climate vent on the dashboard. Labeled "
extra_ten
" internally. - A smartphone mount on the center right climate vent, and a small air freshener module on the far lower left climate vent on the dashboard. Labeled "
extra_11
" internally.
The primary color of the car is applied to the body and the stitching on the seats, while the secondary color is applied to part of the hood and on the roof. It uses a set of wheels identical to the "S Racer" sport wheels, wrapped in low-profile tires.
