The Enus Paragon R (Armored) is a weaponized, armoured luxury coupé featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of The Diamond Casino & Resort update.
Design[]
The vehicle is essentially the armoured variant of the Paragon R, which features armour padding on the sides and window armouring on the pillars, in a similar manner to the armoured vehicles featured in the Executives and Other Criminals update.
Colour distribution is the same as the regular Paragon R, where the primary colour is applied on the body, while the secondary colour is applied on the mirror shells and the interior stitching. A trim colour is also available for the dashboard, steering wheel, doors, seats and the optional roll-cage's paddings. Its wheels share the same rim design as the "Drag SPL" muscle rims available in Los Santos Customs, wrapped in high-profile tyres.
The vehicle is armed with two machine guns placed where the lower turn indicators are located on the regular version.
Performance[]
Vehicle[]
Similar to the regular Paragon R, the armored version excels in the Sports class and has a great amount of speed coupled with its smooth handling, especially at weaving through congested traffic. And with further upgrades, the vehicle can prove itself to be a worthy competitor.
Again, the vehicle retains the same engine model from the regular version, powering all four wheels in an equal distribution, through an 8-speed gearbox. The engine sound is the same as the regular Paragon R.
Armor[]
Like the armoured cars from the Executives and Other Criminals update, the vehicle features armour padding that allows the vehicle to survive one direct explosive hit, as well as bullet-resistant glass that can withstand 15 standard rounds before being shattered.
Weaponry[]
Machine Gun: The driver has access to two front-facing machine guns, which perform similarly to those from vehicles such as the Blazer Aqua and the Ruiner 2000, albeit with a slightly increased damage (30, compared to the 20 damage from the aforementioned vehicles) and a lower fire rate (1,000 rounds per minute, compared to the 1,200 rounds per minute on the aforementioned vehicles). They have decent firepower against players and vehicles with none or light armour, but will struggle against heavily-armoured vehicles.

Locations[]
- Once the player has completed all 6 Casino Story Missions as the host, the Paragon R (Armored) will be given as a reward to be collected at the Port of Los Santos. It is not obtainable otherwise, other than as a Lucky Wheel podium prize [1].
- When entering the vehicle, the game will ask for a suitable garage for the player to store the vehicle. Choosing a garage will not move the vehicle directly, but the player can choose to simply exit it and use the return to storage option in the Interaction Menu.
Prominent Appearances in Gameplay[]
- A red Paragon R (Armored) can be seen in the Casino mission "Strong Arm Tactics", parked outside the Marlowe Vineyards building. This vehicle could possibly belong to Avery Duggan or his nephew Thornton.

Oversights[]
- Despite being weaponized, the user can still utilise passive mode.
- Statistically, the Paragon R (Armored) has 8 gears by default[2]. This causes problems when one upgrades the car's transmission, which adds one extra gear. As it reaches top (ninth) gear, it loses the ability to downshift itself. Therefore, unless the player manually enters reverse, they are likely going to have trouble accelerating on the next start. This also applies to the Toros, Brutus and the normal Paragon R.
- Likely a safety measure, the transmission upgrades for the vehicle were removed.
- Before, as the game cannot allow two Personal Vehicles to coexist, when the player attempts to collect the Paragon R (Armored) while a Personal Vehicle is active, the game will freeze, leaving the player unable to perform any action besides exiting or finding a new session.
- To fix this, the player could either restart the game, or collect the car when all other Personal Vehicles were in storage.
- As of 6/28/2021, the game automatically despawns the active Personal Vehicle upon selecting a storage location for the Paragon R.
- The Paragon R (Armored) had another glitch that when collected, the game would mistakenly display the car as insured, even though in fact it was not. As such when it was destroyed, the player would permanently lose the vehicle.
- This glitch was soon hotfixed: before the car is collected, it cannot be destroyed, and it will respawn if pushed into the water. However, to avert the glitch before the fix was applied, one would only need to restart the game and drive the car to Los Santos Customs to have it re-insured.
Radio Stations[]
- In Grand Theft Auto Online, the default radio stations are grouped by genre. The Paragon R (Armored) uses the "Jazz" group which plays WorldWide FM.
Trivia[]
- The vehicle can be customised in a Mobile Operations Center or Avenger workshop. However, there are no modifications that are workshop-specific.
- This vehicle may spawn with a horn that is only present on a select few vehicles, the others being the Entity XF, Cheetah, JB 700, and the Stafford.
- Originally, the vehicle lacked a trim colour option in mod shops, being always set to black (a trait also shared with the standard variant). This was changed in the Diamond Casino Heist update.
