For the hotel in Grand Theft Auto IV, see Majestic Hotel.

The Majestic is a car featured in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Design[]

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas[]

The Majestic is a 1980s two-door coupé based on a 1982–1987 Buick Regal, although the tail lights and trunk resemble that of the 1978–1980 model.

Performance[]

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas[]

The car performance is ranked in a mid range; although its top speed is slightly above average, its acceleration and braking are generally average, and its cornering is relatively stable given its rear wheel drive.

The Majestic is one of two gang cars driven by members of the Ballas. However, it is not the best choice for performing drive-bys, as it is a two door car - meaning that only one gang member can accompany the player. The Majestic has low sex appeal.

The Majestic's engine sound is shared with the Blista Compact, Club, Esperanto, Feltzer, Flash, Jester and Tahoma.

Locations[]

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas[]

  • The Majestic can usually be found in Ballas turf. However, if the player has acquired all of their turf via gang wars, it becomes extremely rare, with only one spawn point, which is in the parking lot under the Mulholland Intersection in Downtown Los Santos, Los Santos (though more than one are usually parked there).
  • A flame-proof Majestic can be found during the mission High Stakes, Low-Rider. There are two of them that can also be found in unique paintjobs, one yellow and one blue.
  • Near the Lowrider Challenge at Unity Station, even though it cannot be used in the challenge.

Trivia[]

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas[]

  • Two Majestics appear in High Stakes, Low-Rider, even though the car is not a lowrider.
  • The Majestic's name is a play on the word "Regal".
    • The name might be also a reference to The Majestics; Los Angeles car club that is the main subject of the Sunday Driver.
  • Strangely, even though the Majestic only has one exhaust pipe, two smoke streams can be seen coming out the back. This is most likely due to re-used assets.
  • "Majestic" was the beta name for the Faction in Grand Theft Auto IV.[ref?]
