Not to be confused with the Komoda, a 4-door sports car in Grand Theft Auto Online.
The Buckingham Conada is a helicopter featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of The Criminal Enterprises update.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The Conada strongly resembles the MD Helicopters MD Explorer, sharing the cockpit design, fuselage and the characteristic NOTAR (no tail rotor) setup.
The aircraft is depicted with a relatively compact design similar to the Buzzard and its Attack variant. The nose is mostly composed of large windscreens, small lower windows and the corresponding access doors, as well as small air data probes. The middle section of the aircraft features sliding doors that are always open, small handles on the frontal area and traditional skids with rigid struts below, while the upper area features a tall engine compartment with narrow intakes on the front, twin exhausts on the rear and a four-bladed rotor on top. The tail boom and empennage are relatively simple in design and feature horizontal stabilizers with vertical fins, a vented section for the NOTAR system and a small strike guard on the lower area (though it is not solid). The aircraft uses the same "Flyer" dials as most traditional aircraft in the game, with an arrangement similar to the Frogger.
The helicopter is only available in a single primary colour applied to the entire fuselage, skid struts and tail boom.

Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
Performance-wise, the helicopter is comparable to the Maverick, the Police Maverick and the Frogger, with a relatively good top speed and handling, and the skids also provide good stability when on ground. The lack of a tail rotor makes the aircraft safer to get around when it is active, and it is also less prone to malfunction when the tail is near an obstacle or structure. However, the lack of countermeasures and weaponry means it is not suitable for heavy combat, especially against armed helicopters or weaponised vehicles in general.
The aircraft is powered by twin turboshaft engines, evidenced by the dual intakes and exhausts above. It shares a similar sound to most aircraft, especially the Maverick due to the slow pacing sound from the rotor blades.

Trivia[]
- Its name is likely a reference to the Coandă effect, which is the tendency of a fluid jet to stay attached to a convex surface. This effect is also present on NOTAR helicopters manufactured by MD Helicopters, including the real-life inspiration.
