The Bravado Gauntlet Hellfire is a muscle car appearing in Grand Theft Auto Online and due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI.
Description[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The Gauntlet Hellfire was released as part of the continuation of The Diamond Casino & Resort update, released on September 5, 2019, during the Gauntlet Hellfire Week event.
Grand Theft Auto VI[]

The rear of an orange Gauntlet Hellfire can be seen driving along an Ocean Drive-inspired road in Vice Beach, in the first first trailer (0:31).
Influence[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The Gauntlet Hellfire is evidently based on the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon (LA), with the "Hellfire" name derived from the Challenger SRT Hellcat line. The split grille is inspired by the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, while the bulged hood design may take influence from the 2015-2023 Challenger Shaker (LA) and the 2017-2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. The "A/C" badge on its hood is based on the R/T performance marker, while the placing of the Gauntlet badge is similar to the 2008-2014 (LC) models. The plastic rear panel with the Bravado badging, and the bulged tail lights design are the same as the ones on the 2015-2023 (LA) models. The shape of the tail lights is based on the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro, which is inherited from the original Gauntlet, while the inner signals and reverse lights may take inspirations from the sixth-generation Camaro. The rear bumper and diffuser seem to be derived from the sixth-generation Ford Mustang (S550).
Liveries[]
- The "Redwood Stockcar" livery is derived from the Redwood Gauntlet, with the exception of having the racing number "73" (after the number "72" from the aforementioned car).
- The "Raceway Hero" livery could be based on the Dodge Challenger SRT8 Touring Car from Gran Turismo 5.
- The "Royal Tribute" livery is mainly based on Richard Petty's 1973 Dodge Charger #43[1][2], sponsored by STP (one of the real-life counterparts of LTD Gasoline). The livery name could be a nod to Petty himself, as he is nicknamed "The King".
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The Gauntlet Hellfire is a modernized, wide-body iteration of the Gauntlet, where the front end features a large, flat plastic splitter at the bottom, as well as a set of meshed intakes above, the central one being about two-thirds of the car's width. The upper area is predominated by the split rectangle grille with the "GAUNTLET" badge on the passenger side, together with two circular headlamps located in chrome housings. The hood features a bulged center with a cut-out section for the engine intake.
On the sides, bulky arches surround the wheels, while the bottom of the body is finished in plastic. There are body lines passing through the sides, which is slightly elevated on the rear fenders, while the front fenders bear the Bravado emblem and the "HELLFIRE" lettering next to the doors. The greenhouse area features plastic trim around the windows and two black lines separating the roof panel from the rest of the cabin area, together with rear-view mirrors with black supports near the A-pillars. A ducktail spoiler is present on the trunk lid as standard.
The rear of the car inherits the general shape and layout from the original Gauntlet but features an inset plastic rear panel bearing silver "BRAVADO" lettering embossed on the center, with modern tail lights that consist of LED-like red lights surrounding the outer indicators and the inner reverse lights. The bumper features a central section for the license plate and a plastic bottom, which has two small unusable red light strips, a colored diffuser panel and two moldings for the exhaust pipes.
The car's interior is almost completely reused from the Specter, being a modern, paintable interior named "Muscle White". However, it features slightly different door card textures, and the Bravado emblem is seen in the horn cap.
The primary color of the car is applied on the body and the engine cam covers, while the secondary color is applied on the roof, pillars, rear-view mirrors, rear diffuser panel, and the interior stitching. A trim color is also available for the interior, being applied on the dashboard, door panels, and seats. The stock wheels share the same rim design as the "Five Star" rims also available in Los Santos Customs and other mod shops, albeit smaller and having a permanent red line around it (similar to that of the Hotring Sabre), while high-profile tires with detailed tread pattern are fitted as standard. The rims can also support a dedicated color, which gain a darker tint/shade due to the grey finish of the rims (set to black on naturally-generated examples).

Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The Gauntlet Hellfire's performance is opposite to the Dominator GTX, being on the top pace for the muscle class, with an extremely high top speed and excellent acceleration, making it great for speeding in a straight line. Handling is average at lower speeds, but the vehicle is prone to sliding and even spinning out in turns, and it can easily lose control when hit during higher speeds. It also does not have a very good turning radius, yet this can be mitigated by a skilled driver. Braking is the same as the Gauntlet Classic.
The Gauntlet Hellfire has one (the eleventh) Advanced Flag enabled.[3] The purpose of this flag is unknown, but it appears to have little impact on performance.
The vehicle is powered by a single-cam V8 engine, coupled to a 5-speed gearbox in a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. It shares the same engine sound as the Tampa and Nightshade.

Trivia[]
- The Linotype Atomatic typeface was mainly used on the badges for the Gauntlet Hellfire.
- With the correct modifications and color, it is possible to resemble the modified 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT-8 used in 2015's Furious 7.
- If the "Smooth Hood" option is applied to the car, a chrome air filter will replace the stock bulged one.
Oversights[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
- The "Tuner Exhaust" and "Race Exhaust" modifications had poorly placed exhaust particle effects; extra effects are offset leftwards. This issue can also be seen on the advertisement and official screenshot, where the "Tuner Exhaust" is applied on the vehicle. This has been patched in later updates.
- None of the custom Exhaust options have a shaking animation, which is also shared with the Gauntlet Classic.
- This issue does not occur on the later released Interceptor variant.
- On the Expanded & Enhanced version, if Fidelity is selected in Settings, which enables ray tracing, the stock bumper splitter will reflect as a white color on the bumper and most reflective surfaces. Vehicle models and mod parts are textured white within the files.
