A Ford Explorer Sport Trac-inspired lifeguard truck is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI.
Description[]
The lifeguard truck can be seen twice in the first trailer:
- It is first seen driving north along the beach in the establishing shot (0:14).
- It is later seen parked up behind beachgoers on Vice Beach (0:20). It appears to be coupled up to a towable boat trailer which is half steeped into the water.
The vehicle takes up the design of a 4-door pickup truck with lifeguard equipment on the roof and in the bed. It utilises a white colour scheme with orange stripes along the sides.
Influence[]
Its design seems to be based on that of a second generation Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT, used by the real-world Miami Beach Ocean Rescue.
