Summary[]
Kana alleges to Akane that she and Aqua still love each other, having seen the two together when she went to give him some food. Kana then begins remarking to herself that it makes sense that Aqua would choose Akane over her, prompting Akane to try and reason with her only to be silenced when she begins sobbing. After regaining her composure, Akane claims that her relationship with Aqua has ended and she now only wants the best for him, though Kana points out that she still has feelings for him and thinks it is the same with Aqua.
Kana claims that, if she were in Aqua's shoes, she would choose Akane over herself as well, since she is pretty, smart, popular, and kind. However, Akane argues that Kana is ignorant of her own charms and accuses her of giving up too easily. She goes on to berate her for not having the courage to confess to Aqua herself, causing Kana to begin making excuses before running away, ending the conversation. Afterward, The 15 Year Lie crew clean up their stuff before being driven home by Gotanda.
The following day at Kana's apartment, she is having a lie-in when Akane comes by to continue their conversation from last night. Entering without permission, Akane claims that she wants to help Kana with her romantic endeavors, offering to aid her using her own experiences with Aqua. Astonished, Kana asks what she is trying to achieve but Akane feigns ignorance, though in reality she has decided that anyone who dates Aqua must win her approval. Akane then states that she will help with everything, including clothes, makeup, situations etc, leaving Kana startled by her obsessive behavior.
On the streets, Akane spots a billboard featuring Aqua and notes to herself that he has been distancing himself from those around him to stop them from getting involved in his revenge. Therefore, Akane has concluded that it would be more difficult for him to plot his revenge if he were to have a girlfriend.
