Summary[]
As news of Aqua's death continues to circulate, Ruby would not stop grieving over her brother's passing. However, she eventually begins to pick herself back up. Similarly, Mem-Cho takes a break from streaming. However, Kana refuses to let her own grief stop her and she convinces Mem-Cho not to give up. The two then comfort Ruby, giving the latter the courage to go back to school. Ruby would, in turn, encourage Miyako to return to running Ichigo-Pro. As a result, a little while later, B-Komachi holds auditions for new members while Kana moves on with her own career, as do Akane, Melt, Taiki, and Gotanda.
As Ruby continues to hide her sadness with lies while bringing out her inner darkness when needed, the public become interested and soon B-Komachi gets the opportunity to perform at the Tokyo Dome. During the performance, a disheveled girl in the audience is awestruck, believing Ruby was "born to bring light into the darkness", and gains the same "lying eyes" as the idol. In the end, everyone is blown away by Ruby's song, with some even having tears of joy.
On another day, Ruby wakes up for rehearsal. She complains to herself about how hard her job is, having to smile while telling lie after lie, but she still finds it incredibly fun. Ruby then pays her respects to Aqua and Ai at a memorial built from family pictures and merchandise, claiming she will follow the future they wanted for her, before setting off.

Trivia[]
- At the very end of the chapter, Ruby's eyes become similar to those of her mother, Ai, which, coupled with her words about needing to hide her problems and suffering in order to motivate others through a false happy image, actually could imply that Ruby's life did eventually become similar to her mother's despite to her attempts to avoid it.
- According to an October interview with Aka and Mengo, they initially expected the story's ending to be very controversial, and wanted to motivate fan heated debate and strong reactions.
