Aqua, being the highlight of the show, has became a focal point not only for their discussion but for his future and the future of the new B-Komachi group. This is partly thanks to Mem-Cho, who advertised the show on their channel. After such, the new group discuss their progress and plans for their next steps as an up-and-coming idol group. Thus, they begin using the old groups' songs as references and practice for a while.
On Aqua's end, he sought the aid of Masaya Kaburagi on details regarding his deceased mother. Masaya sees potential in the young Aqua as well as the rest of the new B-Komachi. Thus he gives Aqua what he wants while pulling some strings to open doors for the new idol group by securing them an invite to the Japan Idol Festival, the girls accepts the offer and promptly picks their center. After much deliberation Kana reluctantly accepts the responsibility and become as their center and leading girl. However Kana remains upset about Aqua's relationship with Akane Kurokawa in LoveforReal and refuses to talk to him, therefore Aqua disguises as Pieyon to help with B-Komachi's motivation and skill-building amidst the group's practices; Miyako plays a part in such orchestration. The big day arrives and much anticipation was in the air, as the legacy of the former B-Komachi leads to high expectations. The pressure slowly gets to Kana, couple with finding out about Aqua's disguise the previous night, leaves in a bad place mentally before climbing on stage. Her struggle continues at first but things change when she spots Aqua in the crowd of fans supporting them. Witnessing this, she vows to become Aqua's favorite. On the way back, being led on by Miyako, Aqua causally mentions that his relationship with Akane is for work only, prompting Kana to start talking to him again.
After acquiring the rights for the Tokyo Blade manga by Abiko Samejima, Sumiaki Raida announced to Kaburagi that a 2.5D stage-play adaptation of the popular manga would be in the works. The purpose of meeting with Kaburagi is that he is well-connected and capable of pulling cast members vital for the play. Kaburagi's assistance, a sizeable budget, materials, partnership with Lala Lai Theatrical Company, and backstage crew all were positive for Raida and the prospects of a successful stage-play. Once the cast members set in stone, Raida was especially ecstatic seeing that Kana and Akane, who were rivals, were a part of the play.[2]
