Summary[]
Nino is revealed to be the one who stabbed Ruby as she apologizes to the latter, stating that she cannot allow her to surpass Ai. However, she then notices that her knife did not stab all the way through as Ruby grabs her arm. Before Nino can react, Ichigo appears behind her and tackles her to the ground, stating that he will not repeat the same mistakes. With Nino restrained, "Ruby" reveals herself to really be Akane with a wig and she is wearing a knife-proof vest, the real Ruby having already left to prepared for B-Komachi's concert.
Seemingly unfazed, Nino asks how Ichigo has been. This causes him to snap and reveals that he deduced the truth: Nino was meeting fans behind his back, one of which was Ryosuke Sugano, whom she started dating. However, he then became obsessed with Ai, to the point that he would kill her. Ichigo believes that must have been difficult for Nino but she claims that he has it all wrong and she has forgiven Ryosuke, even stating that it would have been weird if he had not been charmed by the "#1 idol in the world". Furthermore, he obediently killed himself after she told him to do so. Nino states that she is not motivated by revenge but a desire to keep Ai special. While Ichigo claims to not sympathize, Nino calls him out for also wanting Ai to remain "perfect". Akane interjects that Ruby believed that Ai just wanted to be friends with Nino. This finally causes Nino to break down and begin sobbing, admitting that she wanted to be friends with Ai as well. Akane then asks Nino who drove her and Ryosuke to kill Ai.
Meanwhile, B-Komachi's concert goes on without a hitch and Kana tearfully bids her farewell to her fans. Elsewhere, Aqua confronts Hikaru, who is watching the performance live on his phone. Aqua states that he has been thinking about how to save him like Ai said, but has come to the conclusion that Hikaru is beyond the point of saving, as he has been lying this whole time for his own sake. Hikaru then feigns confusion with a gleeful look on his face.
