Summary[]
Sarina is shown in a flashback talking to Gorou about whether he knows Shibuya, and Gorou replies he used to go to college in that area. Sarina elaborates her dreams of being an idol, sharing that Ai was recruited in Shibuya. Gorou proposes to bring Sarina there when she feels better and tells her she's cute so she will likely be scouted, but that he will protect her from clandestine scouters. Sarina doesn't mind if she has to be an underground idol thinking she will look cool, but Gorou insists that the industry world is dangerous, and reaffirms his idea to protect her. Sarina thinks him as overprotective but relents.
Back in the present, Ruby is crying and blaming herself, believing she only brings misfortune to everyone around her. Aqua notices the keychain with Ai's design as he tries to comfort Ruby. Ruby demands her script, but Aqua tells her that it isn't the time for practice. Ruby lashes at Aqua stating she climbed in the idol industry to take revenge for Ai and Gorou's sake. Aqua tries to convince her to desist from living a path of revenge and to live normally. Ruby shoots back rejecting his fraternal advice stating it is too late for him to act like a brother, stating they are not true family and only happened to be reincarnated in the same place.
Aqua accepts this truth, but says he's not asking as Aqua Hoshino, but rather as his original self. Calling her "Sarina", he insists that she wished to be an idol in order to wear dresses, sing cute songs, get an encore, and stand on a stage to make everyone happy like Ai did, and live freely, outside the confines of her hospital room. As he says this Aqua thinks back to how he saw traces of Sarina in Ruby and he'd immediately blame himself for being unable to help her, while feeling guilty of entertaining the possibility that Ruby was Sarina as he saw it purely as escape from his burden, but approached Ruby nonetheless thinking it was Sarina. While Aqua keeps asking her to desist from revenge, Ruby asks Aqua why is he crying, why he called her Sarina and why he knows so much about her past life. With Ruby's suspicions arising, she asks Aqua if he's Gorou. Aqua takes the keychain and complements her for taking care of the keychain on his stead. As they finally see one another as their original selves, Ruby runs tearfully into Aqua, hugging him.
