Summary[]
At Ichigo-Pro, Mem-Cho notes that they are getting close to 20,000 subscribers. While Kana is unimpressed and Ruby speaks of words of encouragement, Mem-Cho is annoyed that she does not seem to be getting any credits. She points out all the hard work she put in. Kana is not convinced but Mem-Cho points out 20,000 itself is an impressive figure, there are roughly 300,000 youtube channels in Japan alone and 75% of those have less than 1,000 subscribers with many of them not even making any revenue. By having 20,000 subscribers, they are already in the top 10% and only 0.1% will ever reach a million subscribers. However Kana points out their financial situation, after paying their agency and their editors, there is not much to divide between the three of them to that point that even a part-time job would pay better.
Mem-Cho then proposes doing room tours for their channel but Kana flat out refuses as she does not want to sell her private life. However she quickly changes her mind as soon as Mem-Cho brings up the fact that they can claim expenses on their belongings and get reimbursed. At Kana's apartment, she starts showing off all sorts of expensive items at her place. Ruby and Mem-Cho cannot help but notice how materialistic their partner is as well as the nice apartment she lives in. Kana explains she does have savings and she invests her money as well. As Kana heads into another room, Mem-Cho offers to help Ruby with her room tour as well but Ruby hesitates since she does not have anything expensive to show off.
As Ruby returns to her room, she stares at the posters of her mother hanging on her wall, wondering if she should remove them. She thinks to herself that she will always be Ai's child and she will take the secret to her grave. She wonders if she should hide them and what her sensei would say but she is certain he would simply tell her to do what she wants. In Ruby's mind, she named their idol group B-Komachi for two reasons; first to fulfill Ai's dream and second is to reconnect with Gorou. Since her reincarnation, Ruby has made efforts to locate Gorou but all she found out was that he had gone missing. Therefore by using the name B-Komachi, she is sure Gorou would notice.
Some time later, Mem-Cho presents a plan to boost their Youtube viewership, shooting a PV. Kana is worried about the cost but through networking, Mem-Cho manage to secure a discount if they can go to her friend's. While Ruby is excited about the idea, Kana points out due to her schedule, she can only go when the Tokyo Blade stage play is over. Mem-Cho has that covered as she has already planned for the trip after the play is over. Upon hearing the plans, Kana starts fantasizing about going on the trip with Aqua. Then she asks Mem-Cho about the place and it is Miyazaki. The mention of Miyazaki catches Ruby's attention as that is where she was born, raised and died.
