Ritual Purification「禊, Misogi?」 is the ninety-second chapter of the Oshi no Ko manga series. It is written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It was released in Weekly Young Jump on September 1, 2022.[1]

Abiko Samejima has agreed to make time to for an interview with Kana, who was once involved in the Tokyo Blade stage adaptation. Kana gets straight to business by asking the copyright requests needing to be approved by Abiko herself. Abiko explains that it is common that the authors are consulted for copyright permission. The point is that without the author's oversight, the publishers would start implementing outrageous ideas such as highly suggestive figurines or pillow covers. And when they actually make such attempts, that they would send female colleagues in those cases, which prompt Kana to point out that is the same tactic used when someone tries to convince idols to put on suggestive swimwear.
However when it comes to cosplay, permission is not necessary unless it is porn. Overall copyright request are usually granted as long as there is love and passion though companies pay production committee for the rights of songs and merchandise, so it necessary to protect those rights. As long as the products show respect to the original work, Abiko would not object but she strongly objects any adult themed doujins.
Back in the studio, attention turns back to Meiya, and she is asked the types questions she was given. Meiya explains that she was given several dirty questions, which she does not mind as long there is mutual respect and trust but dirty jokes without respect are sexual harassment. On the other hand, having heard the explanation herself, she is willing to delete the tweet as long as she can get the guarantees that something similar will not happen again.
To make sure there is no bad afterthought for everyone, Ruby made a proposal to the director. To show his remorse for his words and actions, he will perform a ritual purification. Director Urushibara then enters the stage in full cosplay, to the shock of almost everyone. Urushibara then makes his apology. Aqua questions Ruby for such a stunt and Ruby explains that this is "an eye for an eye", so the idea was to appease someone from cosplay in cosplay. Meiya has some question about his costume and after a look at his costume and knowing the effort he put in, she appreciates his understanding.
The twins set off for home after the recording. Ruby reflects on the successful turn around but Aqua inquires her how much of that was her idea and how far ahead did she plan?
