Mizelda Shudrak (ミゼルダ・シュドラク) is the Chieftain of the People of Shudrak located in the depths of the Buddheim Jungle, in the Empire of Vollachia. She made her debut in Arc 7. Following her devastating injury she sustained during her fight with Arakiya, Mizelda was unable to fulfill her duties as the Shudraks' Chieftain, thus prompting her younger sister Taritta to take her place.
In the aftermath of the Great Disaster, Mizelda and the Shudrak allowed Taritta to relinquish the role of Chieftain to stay with Flop O'Connell, and after getting used to using her prosthetic leg in combat, she took the mantle of Chieftain once again.
Appearance[]
Mizelda is a tall, strong woman with brown skin and green eyes. Her hair is black, but the top is dyed red and parted to one side. Due to the hot and somewhat moist weather, Mizelda, like most of her other people, wears minimal clothes. She also sports a pair of big, round golden earrings. After her fight with Arakiya, it is revealed that she lost a leg and uses a wooden prosthetic leg as a replacement.
Personality[]
Mizelda is shown to be rather hostile towards outsiders and especially towards those who trample on their pride as proud hunters. While she does exhibit these traits, she is willing to listen to the pleas of Subaru and Vincent and even allow them to take the Ritual of Blood, albeit having them partake in the hardest and most dangerous ritual they have. After Subaru and Vincent successfully complete the ritual, Mizelda treats them as fellow hunters and agrees to help Subaru save Rem and Rui.
However, she is particularly brutal towards her enemies. During the events of the Great Disaster, shortly after the defeat of the Witch Sphinx, disliking the deceptive words she was spouting, she took her dagger and slit her throat before repeatedly stabbing her.
Abilities[]
Skilled Archer: As is the case with most other members of her people, Mizelda is extremely skilled with her bow and its usage.
Melee Fighter: Mizelda is also highly skilled at using her knife in combat. She used it to effectively fight Arakiya for a short time in close quarters.
