Maggie is a minor character in Amphibia. She is a student who would constantly pick on and bully Anne back home. She attends Saint James Middle School alongside Anne, Sasha, and Marcy.
Appearance[]
Body[]
Maggie is a Caucasian girl with light skin and of medium height, with ginger hair braided into pigtails. She has freckles on her cheeks and her eyelashes are to the bottom of her eyelids, as well as a gap in her top teeth.
Clothing[]
She wears a backwards-facing purple baseball cap, a blue hoodie, and a salmon-pink skirt. She also wears white boots with black soles and thigh-length dark brown socks. In "Reunion", she wears a mahogany backpack. Her hoodie has the SJMS school symbol. During a flashback in "Marcy at the Gates", she's seen in the background without her hoodie and wearing a SJMS school shirt with a green collar.
Personality[]
Maggie is shown to be a rude and mean-spirited bully who takes immense pleasure in taunting and bullying Anne, giving her the nickname "Boobchuy".
Despite this, she wasn't truly a jerk at all. This was shown during King Andrias' invasion on Earth, where she later shows her respect to Anne after she defeated Andrias.
Background[]
School life and bullying Anne[]
Not much is known about Maggie's early life, but it was shown that she is a Saint James Middle School student who started picking on Anne. One day, Maggie saw Anne arrive at their school and began to tease her for eating what she called a "pukebun". After Anne explained she was eating a special Thai snack made by her mom for her birthday, Maggie attempted to steal the snack from Anne, only to be stopped when Anne's friend, Sasha Waybright, came to her defense. After Sasha threatened not to invite her to her pool party the next week, Maggie begrudgingly gave Anne her snack back and left.[2]
Frog-vasion[]
During the Frog-vasion, Maggie is surprised to see Anne about to duel King Andrias. When Anne defeats Andrias, the entire city, including Maggie, celebrates Anne's victory, and Maggie, with tears of happiness in her eyes, gives Anne a thumbs-up.[3]

Calling the Thai snack a “puke-bun” was definitely reminiscent of when kids made fun of how my food smelled during lunch in elementary school.””
