Synopsis[]
Anne and the Plantars try to rob a museum.[1]
Plot[]
Anne has been staying up all night for the past two days trying to research the concept of alternate universes, which results in her becoming exhausted. Anne can't understand how or why the Plantars can relax at a time like this while they're binging some soap operas, and they tell her that she needs to relax. Mrs. Boonchuy, amazed at how Anne wants to do research (something she never did before ending up in Amphibia), suggests they should all go to the museum and get educated; adding that since Anne has been gone for five months, she needs to catch up on her schoolwork. Furthermore, she wants them out of the house because somehow the Plantars have left slime all over the place and she wants to clean it up.
They arrive at the museum and Mrs. Boonchuy says she will pick them up at 6pm. In the museum, the Plantars are so amazed by all the stuff there. Anne is still focused on her research until the group spots a very mysterious vase that has a picture of a frog and the Calamity Box. Then, they are surprised by a curator and adamant admirer of all things supernatural named Dr. Jan, who is approaching them when she saw that they were interested into the mysterious vase and finding their first real clue, but a paranoid Anne wards her off.
Despite the Plantars' reservations, Anne comes up with a plan to break into the museum, which Hop Pop isn't sure about, but agrees to stick to the plan. Soon enough, they manage to distract the guards, open the door and knock out all the security cameras. But little do they know that Andrias' Frobot Assassin, who has been fully repaired, had taken a picture of Sprig and found their location. At last, Anne and the Plantars see the vase, and with Polly's help to get past the laser security, they finally reach the vase. But soon they are once again attacked by the Frobot, who sets off the alarm. A fight breaks out as the Frobot chases them all over the museum. They manage to cut one of its arms off and drop a massive Mososaurus skeleton on the Frobot, but it survives the blows and is close to nearly killing Anne when Dr. Jan and the security guards barge in through the doors, causing the robot to retreat for now as it wasn't supposed to be seen, saving Anne's life.
Dr. Jan immediately becomes obsessed with the talking frogs after seeing them without their disguises. Dr. Jan fools the guards into thinking they're hired help for an exhibit and tells them to leave so she can get an explanation. Hop Pop then finally convinces Anne to trust Dr. Jan as they can't do this on their own and it's time to start trusting someone. After hearing their story and earning their trust, Dr. Jan offers to help them in their quest; she also gives Anne some sound advice, by telling her that while she understands her desire to help her friends get back to their world, she still needs to take a break once in a while and sends her home for some much-needed rest.
After doing some research the whole night till next day, Dr. Jan discovers the vase has a hidden message in Amphibian alphabet when using a UV light torch in a dark room, just as Anne predicted.

Revelations and significant events[]
- The robot from "The New Normal" returns and finds a way to track Anne through a transmission tower.

- Anne confides the truth about Amphibia to Dr. Jan, who offers to help her find more information.
- Near the end of the episode, Dr. Jan finds a hidden message written in the Amphibian alphabet that would be later translated into: "Seek the mother of olms. She will guide you to your destiny." in "Temple Frogs".

Continuity[]
- Anne continues her search for a way to return to Amphibia.

- One of King Andrias' friends from a picture in "The Sleepover to End All Sleepovers" and a flashback in "True Colors", can be seen on the jar that also had Vikings on a ship.
- Anne uses a bird call to signal the Plantars like she did in "The New Normal".
Production notes[]
- Part of the script originally featured some alternate scenes and lines:
- In an alternate take on Anne getting ready for the museum heist, she mentions that her black clothing was from her 6th grade goth phase and convinces the Plantars to partake in the heist by noting that the pot was already stolen.
- When Cloak-Bot arrives during the heist, Anne says "Oh crud" while Sprig questions how it found them.
