Maurice the Mantis is a character of Amphibia. He is the Sundew family's pet mantis. He only appears in Amphibia: Calamity Beatdown.
The mantis is quite small compared to other members of its species, only being about the same height as Anne Boonchuy, while other Green mantises reach heights of up to four or more frogs. It has a green body and a lighter green under-body abdomen. It has yellow bulbous eyes on either side of its head and two green antennae. It features yellow-spotted wings on its back.

Top Ten Hot Takes: Amphibia Edition
1. I don't like Polly that much as a character
2. Sprig's Birthday is the FUNNIEST episode of the series, with The Dinner being a close second.
3. 'Heart Stomper' is better than 'No Big Deal'
4. Darcy should've been a more consistent threat throughout season 3B.
5. 'Contagi-Anne' is the weakest episode of the show.
6. I don't like Sprivy. I liked Ivy in 'Dating Season' but she never gets explored more and just becomes Sprig's partner for the rest of the show.

Unlike what @Conspiracy_Chris typed in there for There could be a sequel I was thinking and hoping that The Core will be transferred in the Darcy Wu clone so the clone can be as I thought she could be before it was destroyed by the trio.
I preferred that before Anne, Sasha, and Marcy will ever have kids of their own, they should think about having husbands to get their own kids. If they ever have kids those kids will be like what @Conspiracy_Chris had mentioned to them about it. Mixed with some help from old friends and The Boonchuy parents so things can build a new portal back to Amphibia again

Now likely not, there could be a sequel to the beloved show amphibia. Disney should really consider this because it could be a good idea. Now as you all know at the end of the last episode they go back to earth and they use the last of the power in the gems to go back, leaving them no way to get back to amphibia.
So what if the sequel is placed years after they go back and Marci, Anne, and Sasha have kids of there own and are best friends just like there parents. Headcanon of the Day- July 17, 2022
Marcy is Biracial, with a white mom and a Taiwanese dad. Her mom died after getting hit by a bus when Marcy was eight, which caused an emotional rift between Marcy and Mr Wu. After Mrs Wu's death, Mr Wu didn't want anything around that reminded him of her, which, to an extent, included Marcy. He constantly implied that she was "too white" or "not asian enough", and especially was critical of her eyes, which she inherited from her mom and thus were not the asian monolids that he has. When Marcy was twelve, he remarried a lady from the local farmer's market, who was of Chinese descent, and though Marcy can get along with her stepmom, she misses her mother dearly. Marcy just wishes her dad will accept her for who she is.

A Big Thing I’m Hoping for Regarding “Froggy Little Christmas”
I know that this is wishful thinking I’m revealing, but...the biggest thing I’m hoping regarding this Christmas special is that it brings to light what Christmas is truly about: The birth and coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Not very many programs containing Christmas specials do that anymore, and I would love for Matt Braly and company to make a change of pace on the matter.
But, the most important reason as to why I’m hoping this is because the special’s going to involve the Plantars having trouble understanding what Christmas is about. I figured it would be a great opportunity for them to not only learn about something that’s a significant part of our world, but to help the world itself be reminded of Jesus.

The New Normal
I'm happy to know that The New Normal is gonna be airing a day later in Canada as opposed to the way that Season 2 aired of airing months after it had aired in the United States since I was worried about that. Since Season 2 of Amphibia ended up airing later in Canada than it did in the United States so I guess that the CRTC must be getting more lenient now

Overall review: 7 out of 10
I love this episode for a lot of reasons. It has pretty much everything - funny, relatable characters, a good message, and the beginnings of a great plot. We get to see Sprig, a kid who's just trying to be appreciated and depended on by his elders. This is an issue for a lot of people, which is part of why I love this show - a lot of the problems and relationships are very similar to real life. There's the funny characters who provide comic relief, mainly Polly, who makes the episode fun and breaks up the serious mood with her hilarious personality. We get to see our girl Anne for the …
