 Week 2 – Amplification
 Week 3 – Operational Amplifiers (Op-Amps)
 Week 4 - The PN Junction Diode
 Week 5 – Bipolar Junction Transistors (BJT)
 Week 6 – Field Effect Transistors (FET)
 Week 7 – Digital Systems and Combinational Logic I
 Week 8 – Combinational Logic II
 Week 9 – Sequential Logic I
 Week 10 - Sequential Logic II
 Week 11 – Implementing Digital Systems
 (Week 12 – Revision)

 There will be 11 Tutorials containing
analytical problems that have to be solved,
part in class, part through directed studies
 Consists of one exam and two courseworks
 EX1: Exam
 CW1: Two Analogue Lab Reports
One Work-Based Essay (only GA students)
 CW2: Two Digital Lab Reports
 Submit reports one week after the experiment
 IMPORTANT: the weighting is 50% for EX1, 25%
for CW1 and 25% for CW2
 Late submission will be penalised
