Emerich B. Freed (1897-1955) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
Freed was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on September 11, 1941, to a new seat created by 55 Stat. 148; he was confirmed by the Senate on October 2, 1941, and received commission on October 7. He served until his death on December 4, 1955.[1] Freed was succeeded in this position by Paul Weick.
