David Jackson Davis (1878-1938) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.

He received a recess appointment from President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on December 10, 1935, to replace William Irwin Grubb.[1] On January 6, 1936, he was nominated. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 22nd and received commission on January 28th. He served until his death on December 7, 1938.
