Stephen W. Brennan (1893-1968) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.

Brennan was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on March 31, 1942, to a seat vacated by Frank Cooper; he was confirmed by the Senate on April 28, 1942, and received commission on May 6. He served as chief judge from 1948-1963. He assumed senior status on May 1, 1963, and served in that capacity until his death on April 9, 1968.[1]
