James Harris Baldwin (1876-1944) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Montana. He was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on May 20, 1935. He served until his death on October 26, 1944.[1] Baldwin was succeeded in this position by Judge Robert Lewis Brown.

Baldwin was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on May 20, 1935, to replace George Bourquin. He was confirmed by the Senate on May 29, 1935, and received commission on June 4, 1935. He served until his death on October 26, 1944.[1] Baldwin was succeeded in this position by Judge Robert Lewis Brown.
