Augustus V. Long (1877-1955) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.
He was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on May 26, 1934, to replace William Bostwick Sheppard.[1] He was confirmed by the Senate on May 29th, and received commission on June 4th. On October 1, 1947, he assumed senior status and continued to serve in this capacity until his death on May 20, 1955.
