    SRI KOMARAM BHEEM PROJECT

    Preamble:
    Sri Komaram Bheem Project is a Medium Irrigation Project proposed across
    Peddavagu stream near Ada (V), Asifabad (M), Asifabad (Dist). The scheme is
    proposed to irrigate an ayacut of (18421 Ha) 45,500 Acres covering in 69 villages in 4
    Mandals i.e Asifabad, Wankidi, Kagaznagar and Sirpur (T) of Asifabad District. The
    Scheme was administratively sanctioned vide GO RT.No.144 dated 22-01-2005 for
    Rs.274.14 crores and Revised vide GO RT. No. 1630 dated 13-10-2009 for Rs.450.14
    Crores.
