Podoso is a responsible and friendly man who carries out his guard duties with diligence. He is genuine with his work and people, showing empathy and kindness.
History[]
As a guard who has worked in Leanotte for some time, Podoso is familiar with the town and Coatl's deeds to assist the townspeople during the avalanche that occurred ten years prior. Although it is not known if Podoso was a resident of Leanotte at the time of the avalanche, he knew of Coatl's actions and found him admirable. While dutifully fulfilling his role as a guard, seven serial murders occurred over the span of several weeks. Recognizing the danger of Coatl's solitude life, Podoso decided to visit the church to warn the pastor of the murder, only to discover that he was nowhere to be found and that a young woman, Maqueena, had entered before him. Later in the day, Admonsah arrived at the church, a blizzard began to form, and a party of four girls, consisting of Omega's group and Noelle Tuérico, also entered.
Podoso acted respectfully to the other visitors in the church, openly discussing topics such as Coatl's deeds or the Ice Thieves. He accompanied Maqueena when she attempted to go to another part of the church by herself, with Trellock arriving during their absence. Podoso and Maqueena were the first to discover the church's hidden basement and that Coatl had been murdered there. He proceeded to participate in the discussions revolving around the murder, revealing the serial murders of victims who had their faces ripped to the rest of the group and admitting that he had came to the church to warn Coatl. He also divulged that the circumstances of the seventh murder was different and was quick to accept Admonsah for his background as a slave, understanding that his murder was in self-defense.
When Maqueena was close to having her true profession exposed, she used Muskrim to escape the church, rendering everyone apart from Noelle unconscious. In the end, Maqueena was exposed for her crimes as a con artist, Trellock was revealed to be the serial killer, Podoso offered Admonsah to become his assistant, and he left was unaware that Noelle, who purportedly took custody of the serial killer, was Coatl's true murderer. He and Admonsah parted ways with Omega's group on friendly terms, taking Maqueena with them to Leanotte.
