Reporting for Duty is the first of the Project Overthrow missions featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the San Andreas Mercenaries update.
Description[]
Merryweather Security has set up a field base in Davis Quartz. They've been extracting an unknown resource and stored it on a vehicle. The Los Santos Angels are going to be wreaking havoc on Merryweather and then stealing the cache to figure out what they're up to.
The player spawns in their Avenger in the air, headed east. If the Avenger does not have the options installed, Charlie Reed made sure to add several gun turrets and stock up the bomb bay for this mission.
Before reaching the quarry, Charlie tasks them with using their Avenger's weapons to destroy a number of Merryweather supply trailers, all while avoiding the security force's anti-air. He assures that the unknown transport is safely secured in a military-grade container, so to feel free to rain down hell with impunity. Though the player will be warned by Merryweather, by maintaining a sufficient altitude above the quarry the Avenger can be set to autopilot to use the turrets.
After destroying all of the supply trailers, an attacking Weaponized Conada and as many ground forces as possible, the player is recommended to land near the red cargo container and shoot the lock off, the GTA Online Protagonist slipping inside to find a Draugur within. Wooden crates smashed as the off-roader shoots out of the container, the player is given control as Charlie tells the player to load the Draugur into the Avenger or deliver it directly to the LSA Lockup (located in El Burro Heights). More Weaponized Conadas will give chase but give up after reaching the city limits, thanks to having all the destruction to deal with at the quarry. Charlie tells the player to RTB (Return to Base).
If using the Avenger, the player can land by the lockup or at the directed parking lot across the street, then unload the Draugur to drive it into the lockup's reticule, the Protagonist getting out to open the garage door.
Looks like Merryweather found a domestic source of the good shit.
If they process this, who knows what they're cooking up... That stuff's in batteries, phones, cars... hell, even energy weapons. We got some work to do. In the meantime, we can name our price for it.

Mission Objectives[]
- Go to Davis Quartz Quarry.
