Salvage is a CEO/VIP Challenge in Grand Theft Auto Online added as part of the Further Adventures in Finance and Felony update.
Description[]
Salvage consists of associates competing to collect fifty underwater checkpoints with the help of a rebreather in one of ten location around the map. Once started, the salvage area nearest to the leader is chosen, unless they are positioned too close, in which case the next closest is selected instead. The CEO/VIP can start the mission and participate, or "Start as Spectator" and watch their associates complete instead; however, the latter requires at least two associates/bodyguards.
As soon as the challenge is started, a 10-minute timer appears. All participating players are instructed to enter the area, and 2–4 Seasharks are placed at the coast nearby, their number dependent on the number of participating members.
