Kenneth Keller Hall (1918-1999) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit and the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.[1]

Judicial career

Fourth Circuit

Hall was nominated to the Fourth Circuit by President Gerald Ford on August 26, 1976, to a seat vacated by John Field; he was confirmed by the Senate on September 1, 1976, and received commission two days later. He assumed senior status on February 24, 1998, and served the Fourth Circuit in that capacity until his death on July 8, 1999.[1]

Southern District of West Virginia

Hall was nominated to the Southern District of West Virginia by President Richard Nixon on November 22, 1971, to a seat vacated by John Field; he was confirmed by the Senate on December 1, 1971, and received commission on December 6. He served this court until his September 26, 1976, advancement to the Fourth Circuit.[1] Hall was succeeded in this position by John Copenhaver.
