William Benner Enright was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. He was nominated by President Nixon in 1972. He served on senior status until he passed away of a heart attack on March 7, 2021.[1]

Judicial career

Southern District of California

Enright was nominated to the Southern District of California by Richard M. Nixon on June 13, 1972, to a seat vacated by J. Clifford Wallace. He was confirmed by the Senate on June 28, 1972, and received his commission on June 30, 1972. Enright assumed senior status on July 12, 1990.[2] Enright was succeeded in this position by Marilyn Huff.
