Edward "Ned" Bertrand Davis (1933-2010) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Davis passed away on May 25, 2010 at the age of 77.[1] Davis Was succeeded in this position by Jose Martinez.

Judicial nominations and appointments

Davis was nominated by President Jimmy Carter on August 10, 1979, to a new seat created by 92 Stat. 1629; he was confirmed by the Senate on October 4, 1979, and received commission the next day. He served as chief judge from 1997 until his retirement on June 30, 2000.[2] Davis Was succeeded in this position by Jose Martinez.
