Joseph Oscar Eaton (1920-2008) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Eaton was nominated by President Lyndon Johnson on May 24, 1967, to a seat vacated by David Dyer; he was confirmed by the Senate on June 12, 1967, and received commission that same day. He served as chief judge from 1982-1984. He assumed senior status on April 2, 1985, and served in that capacity until his death on September 28, 2008. Eaton was succeeded in this position by Kenneth Ryskamp.
