David Lycurgus Middlebrooks, Jr. (1926-present) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.

Lycurgus was nominated by President Richard Nixon on October 6, 1969, to a seat vacated by George Carswell; he was confirmed by the Senate on December 10, 1969, and received commission the next day. He resigned on August 1, 1974. Middlebrooks was succeeded in this position by William Stafford. Middlebrooks died on March 26th, 1997.
