Hailey 'Alohilani Banks is the titular protagonist of the Disney Channel series Hailey's On It! She is the daughter of Patricia and Kai Banks. She is the older sister of Dwayne and Johnson Banks. She is a Hawaiian-American girl, who must complete her long to-do list and save the world.

Hailey is an ordinary kid who is very introverted and sort of risk-averse. She doesn't go looking for crazy things to do. In fact, every time she comes up with an idea she wants to do, she just puts it on her list and plans to put it off. And when The Professor arrives in her bedroom, she is very reluctant to talk to her at first, but after hearing she made a to-do list that is the first step to saving the world, she has to try new things, which is something Hailey has a tendency to avoid. The to-do list she must complete, however, is set to push her far out of her comfort zone but she eventually gets the confidence and ability to do all these crazy things she wrote down on her list. That is her first step towards becoming a great person that does great things in the future.
She is also a very loyal friend, doing anything for her childhood best friend Scott, though harboring a huge crush on him. She can also be jealous at times, especially when Scott begins dating the most popular girl at school, Kristine.
Hailey usually realizes when she's wrong and quickly tries to make up for it, due to her good heart.
Hailey Banks is anxious, brave, creative, determined, friendly, kind, loyal, smart and talented.
Physical appearance[]
Hailey is a 14-year-old Hawaiian-American girl of medium height. She has tan skin, light brown hair styled in a ponytail with a red tie, with square bangs in between her dark brown eyes and a chipped tooth.
Her clothes consist of a white t-shirt with red sleeves covered with rolled up blue jean overalls missing a strap with golden button on one side; and light pink slip-on shoes with white soles. She also wears big red glasses and a grey watch with a screen on her left wrist.
Abilities[]
- Engineering Skills: Hailey is a skilled engineer, being able to build devises such as a crane to shake her father’s couch to get all the coins out.
- Athleticism: Hailey is athletic to a certain degree. While she is capable of performing flips and run moderate distances, she has a small reserve of stamina that presents her from participating in athletic activities, such as running, for extended periods of time.
- Resourcefulness: Hailey is shown to be resourceful, being able to craft a single flair out of soda and mints when lost in a corn maze. She also brought a first aid kit when Scott tried out for a lugging school.
- Singing: Hailey is a talented singer.
- Accuracy: Hailey has precise aim, hitting a Chaos Bot with darts and successfully performing a nearly impossible bowling move to let her father win.

Hailey's On It![]
Hailey 'Alohilani Banks is an average 14-year-old who loves hanging out with her best friend Scott Denoga. Throughout most of her life, Hailey has made it a habit of keeping a journal of things she plans on doing at some point. Due to her conservative and non-risk-taking demeanor, Hailey's list has become extensive, and she has yet to actually complete any of them.
One day, a small robot, identified as a Chaos Bot, enters her room and tries to destroy her journal, only for a purple haired woman, simply named The Professor, arrives and destroys the robot. She informs Hailey that she is important in the future because she will complete her list of to-dos, which gets the attention of President Serena Williams, thus giving her a grant that will allow her to build an energy efficient battery that will make the future a brighter place. Hailey is astonished by this information until she learns that one of her tasks is to kiss Scott. Nevertheless, Hailey sets herself to doing it and starts her quest to complete all of her to-dos.
Hailey immediately hits a roadblock where in an effort to avoid revealing her feelings to Scott, she allows her pseudo-friend Kristine Sanchez to date him. She proceeds to continue her journey of finishing the list with this problem over her head. It partially gets solved when Kristine breaks up with Scott after she gets on her favorite show Hat House, only for Hailey to discover that she does not want anyone to date him. However, eventually Kristine gets over Scott and Hailey is both excited and scared to finally ask him out. She makes a written pact to ask Scott to go a 1980's themed school dance with her. Only to lose the note and spends the day searching for it. After school, her mother reveals she found the note and gives Hailey advice on how to handle her feelings.
As the dance approached, Hailey planned to tell Scott how she felt during their dance as they always go as friends. However, when a new Compatibility app called Snack Match is introduced to the school that tell people if they are compatible based on how well their food goes together. She gets lobster and Scott gets cookie, two things that do not go together. After Scott is matched with Destiny, he asks Hailey if she is alright with him going with someone else and she begrudgingly agrees when he brings up her fake crush Sanjay Singh. She pulls up a calone add and says the model is Sanjay. Later, she is about to head to the dance when Scott arrives-having realized he has feelings for Hailey. But before he can confess, a boy claiming to be Sanjay arrives and Hailey introduces him to Scott. At the dance, Hailey and Sanjay have fun and he asks her to be his girlfriend, to which she agrees. Beta reminds her that to save the world she must kiss Scott. However, Hailey gives up on Scott and instead wants to date Sanjay. As the couples get called to have their pictures taken, Hailey has Scott watch her bag and thanks him for being her friend.
Unbeknownst to Hailey, since she decided to date Sanjay and give up on the list, she unintentionally dooms the future as a time glitch shows Chaos Bots destroying everything to sight.
Chibiverse[]
In “The Chibi Couple Game”, Hailey and Scott are put on a dating game show where the winners kiss on camera, much to her dismay and shock, after Scott signs them up after mistaking the premise of the game. They compete against Star Butterfly and Marco Diaz and Luz Noceda and Amity Blight. Hailey tries to throw the game to no avail since Beta is both the judge and in charge of the prize committee. After she and Scott are in the lead, Scott throws the game sensing Hailey does not want to win. She hugs him after hearing this and punches Bata when he suggests she kiss him.
Road Trip[]
When The Professor loans Hailey a flying car from the future to complete a list item that involves her going to a Clown Museum in Nevada, Scott and Beta go with her. Hailey tells Beta about the time a clown gave her and Scott a ballon dog they called Air Head who they took everywhere until he popped at the Cacus Sanctuary. Hailey says she got into clowns because of it.
As they venture on, Hailey naps up is awoken by Scott’s failed attempts to open the moon roof. As Hailey looks for a manual, the car announces it will turn left, right into a lake. Hailey. Beta brushes it off as the fastest way as Hailey doubts it. They drive into the lake and sink. After reaching the bottom, Scott finds the moon roof button and opens it as Hailey and Beta tell him not to, flooding the car.
As Beta drives, Hailey and Scott complain that they are hungry and they pull over into the drive through of a pirate themed fast food restaurant. Beta places an order for the teenagers, but he gets no response. Scott says he has to talk like a pirate when ordering, but Beta refuses. However after they pester him, Beta gives in. He enjoys it, but the employee does not understand him.
As they near their destination, Beta becomes frustrated with the other drivers. He starts to glitch and Hailey tells Beta to calm down. Scott hands him a paper bag and he breathes into it, calming him. Beta is unfazed when someone throws a can of soda at the windshield and they get stuck in a traffic jam. Someone honks at them and they three yell back. Beta expresses his desire for the car to have lasers, only for it to comply, much to Beta and Hailey's shock and Scott’s amazement.
When they reach the Clown Museum, they find it in a dilapidated state. As Hailey fearfully asks if she has to go in, Scott says she never wrote going inside, only visit. Which Beta agrees. As Hailey questions how fast she can get the list item done. They hear circus music and are quickly surrounded by clowns. They cower before Hailey's wristband turns green and the speed away, agreeing to never discuss these events again. When Scott asks what the next list item is, Beta checks and finds that they must go to the Victorian Doll Museum. Beta and Scott look at Hailey as she says she went through a museum phase. They hear a horn and a startled to find a clown horn on the driver’s side mirror.

- Hailey is the second Polynesian protagonist from a Disney animated series after Lilo Pelekai.
- Hailey is biracial, just like her voice actress, Auli'i Cravalho.
- Hailey was voiced by Ashly Burch in the original pilot.
- Concept art reveals that Hailey went through numerous ethnic designs such as White and East Asian. They ultimately settled on Polynesian once Cravalho was cast. In the original pilot, she was animated with circular eyes, an upturned nose, and a more rounded out head.
- Hailey's baby twin brothers, Dwayne and Johnson are named after actor and former WWE wrestler Dwayne Johnson, who coincidentally voiced Maui in Moana, in which Hailey's voice actress Auli'i Cravalho voiced the titular character.
