The Professor is a supporting character in the Disney Channel series Hailey's On It! She is the mysterious, yet high-energy scientist from the future (2074) and Hailey Banks' mentor.

Personality[]
The Professor is a talkative and enthusiastic person who, despite her fun-loving nature, takes her job seriously. Her biggest concern is ensuring that Hailey completes her list and that the future is secured to the point that she cares very little for her personal grievances and issues. This is mainly because she is constantly in a hurry and arrives to give Hailey what she needs before having to return to her time.
Physical appearance[]
The Professor is a tan-skinned woman with long violet side-shaved hair. She has a scar over her left eye, which is violet, while her other eye is brown. Her attire consists of a dark purple shirt, light purple pants, a black belt and a hanging belt with a chain, a tall black boot, and a tattered white lab coat. Her left hand and right leg are cybernetic. In "We Wish You A Merry Chaos-mas", the Professor has dyed her hair red.

The Professor is outfitted with various weaponry and is implied to be rather intelligent, though to what extent has not been shown.
Role in the Series[]
The Professor is a scientist from the future where its rule by Chaos Bots. She first appears emerging from a portal, saving Hailey by destroying the Chaos Bot. She explains the bot came to destroy Hailey's to-do list because she is important and will help save the future. The Professor proves this by revealing a recorded message of future Hailey telling herself to complete the list. She explains by completing the list, she will be given the person of the year title and will get President Serena Willaims attention who will give her a grant, thus allowing her to build a device that reverses climate change.Hailey gets of the prospect of being important and examines the things she has to check off in the future. Then to her surprise, "Kissing Scott Denoga" was among them which she claims is a joke. She then gives Hailey some devices she needs to help her on her mission. The Professor doesn't care and orders her to complete the list but warns Hailey if she doesn't complete the list, the world will become a hot zone. As she was getting ready to tell Hailey the winning jackpot numbers, she gets back pulled back into the future. The Professor also gave Hailey, Beta, a robot sent to help Hailey complete everything on her list.
After Hailey completes fifty list items, The Professor sends a prerecorded message through Beta congratulating Hailey and reveals she left a present for her in her closet, a small orb, but Scott, who just ate dozens of popsicles to help accomplish the most recent list item, throws up on Beta and ends the message before she can explain more. After bullies at Oceanside Hero Con break the orb, she and several Hero Force cosplayers from the future travel to the present to help Hailey. After the bullies flee, The Professor reveals the orb was an invention Hailey made that allowed the The Professor to help Hailey if she needed it, but as it broke the aid was one time thing. Before going back to the future, she asks Hailey to get her a Sun Yee autograph as she accidentally spilled her drink on hers. She returns to the future failing to give Hailey the winning jackpot numbers again. Hailey agrees and she gets her autograph, only to destroy it again not even ten seconds later.
After Beta is taken by N.O.P.E. agents, she arrives to give Hailey Omega, a new phone helper and reveals Beta's memory with be erased when his battery runs out due to a fail safe. After Hailey rescues Beta, The Professor forces Hailey to choose between him and Omega as she cannot have two AI helper and Hailey chooses Beta. Before leaving, Hailey shows her the Chaos Bot's power supply that had a doodle she drew earlier and demands answers. The Professor reveals it is a renewable energy source Hailey invents in the future that powers everything in her time. The Professor urges Hailey to complete her list and comforts the girl when she expresses doubt. She then returns to the future, but not before failing to give Hailey lottery numbers.
When she gets tickets to The Rolling Stones, she accidentally travels to fourteen year old Hailey rather then forty-two year old Hailey and gives her blueprints for a growth ray and fails to retrieve them before returning to her own time.
As she and her company celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Hailey putting on the best Oceanside Christmas Festival ever, she has her co-workers hand over their portal cards and hides them in teenage Hailey's time. However in doing so, she inadvertently traps herself in that time period as there is no way to open up a portal and her portable portal device will take fifty years to charge. After telling Hailey she will put on the best Oceanside Christmas Festival ever because of Little Rudy, a skateboard reindeer Scott rented, they and Beta go to the beach and meet up with Scott. After Little Rudy arrives, Scott accidentally opens a portal to her time and Little Rudy skateboards into it as Hailey gets stuck. The Professor, Beta, and Scott pull her out and Hailey reveals Christmas is not a thing in the future and, after everyone panics, Hailey gives an inspirational speech and they get to work trying to charge the portable portal device. After rerouting power and letting other acts perform to less then thrilling reactions, the power cuts out due to a Chaos Bot just as Hailey starts to sing a song she wrote and they believe they are defeated until one of Hailey's father’s friends plays the piano for her and everyone joins in. She and the others catch the Chaos Bot and restore power, as well as recharging the remote and getting Little Rudy back. After a silent goodbye with Hailey, she returns to her time.
When in 3500, she is chased down by the apex predator of the time, the slaughternouserous, and portals away just in time. However, she inadvertently ends up in teenage Hailey's time and- after an awkward silence between her, Hailey, and Scott- she pretends to be sucked back into a portal and leaves her lab coat behind with a baby slaughternouserous in the pocket. By the time she realizes where her lab coat is, Hailey and Scott have avoided an infestation of slaughternouserous they almost created. She panics upon seeing them and tries to kill them before Hailey convinces her to release them into their own time.
Trivia[]
- A running gag throughout the first two-thirds of the first season had the Professor trying to give Hailey the lottery numbers, only to get pulled back to her time.
- In "We Wish You A Merry Chaos-mas", she finally admits that she did this intentionally as a joke.
- It is currently unknown what her relation, if any, that she has with Hailey. However, in "Sight for Dinosaur Eyes", the Professor was delivering blueprints to a future Hailey, implying that she might be her assistant of sorts.
