"We Wish You A Merry Chaos-mas" is the twentieth episode of the Disney Channel animated series, Hailey's On It!

Synopsis[]

When Hailey loses a mini reindeer, causing Christmas to not exist in the future, she must throw the best Oceanside Christmas Festival Ever to save all future Christmases.

Plot[]

In 2074, the Professor is hosting her company's Christmas party, with all the employees using their access cards to travel to different time periods and pulling pranks. Despite having fun, the Professor asks for all their access cards so as not to cause anymore trouble as it is the fiftieth anniversary of Hailey's successful Oceanside Christmas party. In the present, Hailey is hard at work putting together the party with Scott, Beta, and Darryl, the latter who is once again incompetent at simple tasks. Hailey is trying to complete her latest item which is to put together a successful Christmas Festival. As they talk ,Scott arrives and reveals that he rented Little Rudy the Skateboarding Reindeer to hand out candy canes. Hailey approves of the act and goes home to work on her Christmas song.

While at home putting together her song, which Beta tells her is terrible, Hailey is interrupted by the arrival of the Professor who has come to hide her employee's time travel access cards. She attempts to link back to the future, only to realize that she can't open the access points in the present, nor is her portal opener working due to a drained battery, leaving her stuck in the past. While recharging her portal opener, Hailey tries to get information out of The Professor not no success. However, The Professor does reveal through the following weeks newspaper that the Christmas Festival they throw will be a success due to Little Rudy's appearance, shocking Beta into realizing that Scott's plan will actually work. When Patricia walks in to hide Kai's sweaters she is shocked to see the Professor, who Hailey says is a specialist she hired for the festival, in her daughter’s bedroom. Patricia is skeptical of the situation but quickly lets it slide after Hailey brings up an embarrassing story of her mother drinking eggnog.

The Professor is shocked to learn that recharging will take fifty years due to the technology, so Hailey takes the Professor to the beach as the power batteries that she is using for the party will be strong enough to charge the portal opener faster. Rudy arrives, and The Professor has the teenagers take her picture with him. Hailey struggles with the futuristic phone but Scott adapts quickly. As Scott examines the portal remote he ,accidentally opens a portal to the future and Little Rudy goes in. When Hailey attempts to get him back, she ends up stuck in the portal and sees Little Rudy wreck the lab and vanish with all the holiday decorations vanishing as well. She briefly interacts with the Professor's coworker Deandre who seems oblivious to Christmas. When everyone pulls her back to the present, she informs them that Christmas is not a thing in the future . They check the newspaper to realize the headline has changed and The Professor realizes that due to Little Rudy's absence, the Christmas party fails and it creates a ripple effect that eventually causes Christmas to disappear in the future. While The Professor believes her coworkers will return Little Rudy to the present, Hailey reminds her she has all their portal activation cards. Despite initial panic, Hailey summons the gumption to throw together the best party ever.

Hailey recruits several acquaintances from the past to help perform for the show-The Funcles, Das B3at, Chip Dingle, Frank and Pettie, and Scorn Husk- and Scott failing to jump a Christmas tree on his bike to mixed and negative reactions while the Professor and Beta try to recharge the portal again. While Hailey's show is leaning towards disaster, the Professor and Beta are shocked to learn that Scott is actually incredibly helpful to them. They get enough power to charge the remote in two minutes and Hailey performs her song, but a Chaos Bot appears and cuts the power.

Hailey performs a simpler version of her song which goes over well with the various performers and audiences members singing along .As Scott, Beta, and The Professor watch the performance, they check the headline to see the the successful outcome in back. The Chaos Bot tries to sabotage the performance, but the three stop it and use it to restore power. The remote charges and The Professor opens a portal. Little Rudy, wearing a jet pack, returns with Deandre in tow. The audience enjoys watching Little Rudy flying through the air. The Professor returns to her time with a sliding penguin toy as Hailey, her parents, and Scott celebrate Christmas.
