Declan is a male monster who works for Fear Co. in the Disney/Pixar animated series Monsters at Work. He is similar in appearance to Duncan P. Anderson, the second-in-command to MIFT at Monsters, Inc., but lacks the same character traits as him, as well as having facial hair and is not related to the latter.

Declan is the total opposite of Duncan, he's humble about his position as Deputy Supervisor of the Fear Co. Scare Floor, he's appreciative of Tylor's college student status, and he wants to make his father proud.
Despite this, Declan is not above laughing at the misfortune of others as seen when he cannot help but giggle at Duncan injuring himself during a softball game between Monsters, Inc. and Fear Co.
We soon learn that Declan's niceness was a front as he is blindly compliant with Johnny's instructions, to the point of having a pseudo-sword battle with Duncan when MIFT comes to put a stop to Johnny's plans.

In "Opening Doors", Tylor Tuskmon sees Declan walking by while speaking to his old co-worker Rosie and mistakes him for Duncan, but Rosie says that the monster-in-question is actually Declan and beckons Declan over to them to introduce him to Tylor. Unlike Duncan, Declan is very polite and modest to Tylor, even brushing off his recent promotion to Deputy Scare Floor Supervisor as all he cares about is being useful to others and making his father proud. Tylor is quite amazed at how different he is compared to Duncan.
In "Field of Screams", Declan is one of the employees at Fear Co. who joins their softball team for a yearly game against Monsters, Inc. At one point, he laughs at Duncan when he injures himself, much to Duncan's irritation.
In "Powerless", Declan challenges Duncan to a duel.
