- “Yeah Jill, I don't just carry around this camera for fun.”
- ―Carter getting annoyed with Jill
Carter Lee is a minor character in in the Disney/Pixar animated series Monsters at Work. He is Jack and Jill's cameraman, who is often a target of Jill's abuse.
Appearances[]
Carter is first introduced late into Season Two of Monsters at Work in the episode Lights! Camera! Chaos!, where he joins Jack and Jill for an expose at Monsters, Inc. Carter gets a few spotlight scenes like when he tries to tell Mike and Sulley of a dream he had before Jill rudely cuts him off to continue the expose. His last scene is after Tylor Tuskmon attempts to expose Roger Rogers as the one responsible for the vandalism that recently happened in Monsters, Inc. (which was actually caused by Randall Boggs) and when Jill excitedly asks if Carter has recorded all of this drama, Carter confirms it in a dry manner, much to Jill's irritation.
Carter last appears in the Season Two finale Powerless, where he goes with Jack and Jill to see Fear Co. CEO Johnny Worthington III to unveil a fake scream amplifier in hopes of repowering the city (in reality, it's the button to activate Fear Co.'s receiving station, which is filled with laugh and scream energy due to stealing laugh power from Monsters, Inc courtesy of Randall, to bring power back to Monstropolis). Tylor and his friend Val Little come to stall Johnny and soon, Tylor reveals Johnny's actions, causing Johnny to get arrested by MERC. To show off Laugh Power's potential, Val invites Carter to a door that leads to the bedroom of a kid named Ben in order to broadcast her and Tylor entertaining Ben to the whole of Monstropolis.
