Jake Petroski’s review published on Letterboxd:
Why was this actually good? I went into this with extremely low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Honestly, I enjoyed this more than the original. Found it to be way more fun. So many hilarious moments. It probably was an unnecessary sequel when you really think about it, but I don't have a problem with that when it's as fun as this was. Willem Dafoe makes everything better, and Michael Keaton is just as good as he was 30 years ago as Beetlejuice. Still has its flaws for sure, but I had a great time. Kind of shocked I liked it as much as I did. I really wish I went to see it in theaters because it probably would've been so much fun in a packed theater.
