The common through line here is confusion. It's confusing how certain decisions are allowed to be made. It's confusing how it could look as bad as it does. Tim constantly confuses camp with cringe. The jokes are confusing. The performances are confusing. Why is everyone driving a Tesla? Why does Winona Ryder always look like she's constipated? Though perhaps the biggest mystery of all is how did Beetlejuice Beetlejuice manage to become financially successful while being a strung-together, completely charmless, steaming pile of garbage. 2/10.
